Speaking in an interview after  Easter service at the All Saints Cathedral Onitsha, Anambra State, Bishop Nwokolo noted that “corruption is the bane of this country and Buhari made it a campaign issue, promising that he will fight the canker worm of corruption head-on  so as to liberate the country from its menace, if he wins the election.”

The bishop also urged Gen. Buhari to ensure the maintenance of existing infrastructure in the country, which he said, have gone into deplorable state nationwide.

He said: “Specifically, most Nigerian roads are death traps, and the impact of privatization of power is yet to be felt by Nigerians.”

He adviced General Buhari to directly address the infrastructure deficit in the country and strive to build Nigeria to be truly Africa’s leading economy.

According to some Nigerians, General Muhammadu Buhari who was announced winner of the 2015 presidential elections last week, owes his victory to APC chieftain, Bola Tinubu who is believed be a gray cardinal behind President Jonathan’s Defeat.
