BREAKING: Nigerian Army Rescues 234 More Women And Children From Sambisa

More women and children were on April 30, Thursday, rescued by the Nigerian army in Sambisa forest through the Kawuri and Konduga end.
According to the official Twitter account of the Defence Headquarters, 234 more people were freed.
The  hostages are said to be currently undergoing screening process for their identities to be determined.
According to Premium Times update, Chris Olukolade, Defence spokesman, confirmed the development:
“This set in addition to the previous individuals earlier rescued during the ongoing operation in the area.”
He added that the military assault on
the forest continues from various fronts with the aim of rescuing hostages and destroying all terrorists camps and facilities in the forest.
Sambisa forest, the hideout of Boko Haram insurgents, is gradually falling under  the pressure by the Nigerian military. The past week has been marked by a series of successful army operations.
On April 28 the troops rescued 293 women and children, and on the next day 160 more people were said to have been freed in the same area.
