FULL DETAIL: Nigerian woman set to contest for Spain Presidential election
It is not all bad news concerning Nigerians in the Diaspora as a Nigerian-Spanish lawyer, Helen Mukoro Idisi, has thrown her hat into the running for the presidency of Spain in the 2015 Presidential election which will hold on December 20, 2015.
The Delta State born Idisi who worked with the Delta State Governor’s office before she left Nigeria to Spain in 1992, gained prominence in Spanish politics after she founded a political party, Union De Todos, and gunned for the Mayorial seat of Denia in May this year.

Though she lost the election, she has gained popularity as some top government functionaries and many people have endorsed her for the highest office in the country.
Idisi who will be running for the presidency on the platform her party She will be running on the platform of her party, holds several academic qualifications and is seen as one woman who can give the incumbent, Presidente del Gobierno (President of the Government), Mariano Rajoy.
Idisi graduated with a degree in Law at the Spanish National University Alicante, and also holds a Master degree in Criminology, Masters degree in Social Education, a post graduate certificate in Tax and Labor Management, a post graduate certificate in Forensic Psychology, and a post graduate certificate in Immigration and Domestic Violence.
