A 52-year-old Florida, USA man, Eddy Juan, has been arrested by the police after he was caught crawling under tables in university library ostensibly to sniff at female students' feet and to peep at their underwear, reports Latest.
Juan, who is a registered s*x offender, was nabbed after the police had received several calls about the 'creepy crawler' from students at Florida International University, with help from the public.
Juan, according to police reports, has a criminal record dating back to 1992 with charges of indecent exposure and lewd and lascivious conduct.
Investigators used security footage from the university to identify him after he was seen riding off on a scooter after leaving a library where he smelled women’s feet.
After police received a tip from somebody who spotted Juan riding the scooter, the paedophile tried to flee from police, but was apprehended when he crashed.
He has been charged with violation of sexual offender registration, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, aggravated assault and resisting without violence
