Julius Alagwu, a final year student of Applied Biochemistry at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, was allegedly stabbed to death yesterday, by his elder brother simply identified as Pope, following a heated argument over a girl. Unconfirmed reports have it that the fight was as a result of Julius discovering that Pope was also dating the same girl he, Julius, was dating. .
The argument led to a fight in their shared apartment, resulting in Julius allegedly picking up a knife to attack his brother, but Pope overpowered him, took the knife from him and stabbed him in the neck and stomach. His body has since been deposited at Regina Caeli Hospital in Awka.
