Popular singer Mary J. Blige has filed for divorce from her husband Kendu Isaacs after 12 years of marriage. Based on court documents filed Tuesday, she cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for divorce and also asked to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to Isaacs.
A date of separation is still “to be determined,” according to the documents obtained by TMZ.
The couple have no child together, but Blige, 45, has been a stepmother to Kendu’s children – Briana, Jordan and Nas, from a former relationship since they got married in 2003.
