According to Rariya, a family in Karasuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State had to carry the corpse of a deceased female relative home for burial in a wheelbarrow after the public hospital where she died refused to provide an ambulance.
The family couldn’t afford money for ambulance service and the hospital authorities declined to transport the body.
